More CSPAN Video: Dorothy Height Funeral

For some reason, CSPAN has not made the gathering before the funeral embeddable, so I can only link to it here.

This was huge and everyone who is anybody was there. Bill and Hillary are from about 1:18 to 1:45. It was a lovely tribute to Dr. Height's long life and career. I especially like Hillary's participation since Dr. Height was so often the "only woman in the room," and that is still often true of Hillary today.

Dorothy Height Funeral Photos

Most of these were not taken during the service which was not photographed, apparently. That is Maya Angelou in the wheelchair beside the casket. The white-haired guy kissing Hillary is her HUGE FAN Orrin Hatch who tried single-handedly to nominate her to SCOTUS.

I think you will agree that this deserves a post of its own. When I find more, and especially if a video becomes available I will post separately, but I simply HAD to share this NOW! Totally Keatsian moment. She deserves an ode. How gorgeous is she? Comment in ode please, if you can.
