Brian Fallon, a spokesman for Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign, rebuked Fox News for its recent aggressive coverage of the former Democratic nominee, especially because he says she won't run for office again.
"Fox is resorting to dredging up the ghost of Hillary Clinton, who is never running for office again," Fallon told CNNMoney on Thursday.

If you have any argument at all with this definitive statement, stop calling yourself a Hillary Clinton ... whatever you call yourself. A primary reason Hillary's supporters are loyal to her is because she is a woman of her word. When she says she is going to do something, she does it. When she says she will not, she won't. If you have any argument with her own statement that she will not run, you are calling her a liar. You are not a faithful, loyal Hillary Clinton supporter. You are siding with those who call her deceptive, untrustworthy, unreliable.
The defense rests!
This goes out with hearts and flowers to the supposed Hillary supporters calling me vile names on Facebook for telling the truth that they are unwilling to accept.
Yesterday a FOX News story circulated saying that Hillary Clinton had
"a mixed mind" about the firing of James Comey. It was based on
anonymous sources, of course. Hillary Clinton has issued no public
statement on the matter.
Then there is this from Hillary's close confidante, Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
White House Spokeswoman Says Hillary Clinton Would Have Fired James Comey ‘Immediately’
Deputy
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Wednesday
asserted without any corroboration that Hillary Clinton would have fired
FBI Director James Comey “immediately” had she won the election last
fall. She added, “thank God she didn’t [win].”
Huckabee
Sanders, filling in for Sean Spicer at Wednesday’s press briefing,
tried to defend President Trump’s decision to abruptly dismiss Comey
late Tuesday — a move that caught much of Washington off guard and
sparked outrage from Democrats and several key Republicans as well.
“Most
of the people that are declaring war today are the very ones that were
begging for Director Comey to be fired,” Huckabee Sanders said. “If
Hillary Clinton had won the election, which thank God she didn’t, but if
she had… she would have fired Comey immediately.”
This
same White House barred American press from the Oval Office yesterday
while letting the Russian cameras in the room believing that the photos
would not be released.
Not only were they played, they admitted they were tricked ... amazed that the Russians lied to them! Not so good at reading Russian minds, it seems.
Trump with Lester Holt today:
HOLT: Were you angry
with James Comey when he went public and said he can't support your
unsubstantiated charges of wiretapping, that your predecessor wiretapped
you?
TRUMP: I was surprised he said it but I wasn't angry.
There's a big thing going on right now which is spying and it's -- you
can call it anything you want -- the unmasking and the spying and to me
that's the big story right now. That's a very, very big story.
Hmmmmm... wonder what minute drones the Russians scattered around the West Wing.
Team
Trump is “either in bed with the Russians or too stupid to understand
the severity of this mistake,” an official fumed after Kremlin press got
exclusive Oval Office access.
Two
senior administration officials, one an Obama holdover and the other a
Trump appointee, told The Daily Beast that the resulting reliance of
U.S. media on a propaganda arm of a foreign government let Russia set
the public tone of the meeting and embarrassed the administration amid
already contentious discussions with Russian diplomats.
Both
officials spoke on condition of anonymity in order to candidly express
their views. The White House did not immediately respond to a request
for comment. Read more >>>>
Sooner or later it was going to happen. There would come a Sunday
when Hillary would have to go into the Foxhole. Today was that day and
she did very well. Even in interviews it is hard to defend yourself
when the host controls the content. Here are her full remarks at the transfer of remains ceremonyat Andrews and she absolutely did use the word terror.
I
think she did a beautiful job here, and Chris Wallace did not make it
easy. For those who say she is not warm and not "human" watch her
talking about that speech and her daughter. Also watch her reaction to the question about Pat Smith in comparison to how Donald Trump is tweeting about the Khans today.
Bernie Sanders went first. I did not take pictures of him. You know
what he looks like. Here are some of the topics with my summaries of
his responses.
How to fight ISIS: The Muslim nations will come together to fight ISIS. (We will supply air support.)
What
is the transition from current medical care model to your program? The
wealthiest country in the world will give everybody medical care. I
have worked for this all my life. We will put everybody on Medicare.
How
will you get your programs through Congress? I will make sure college
is tuition-free. All the young people will come together and fight for
my programs.
Women will get pay equity when all women mobilize and fight for fair pay.
For those who must, here is the full video of Bernie's segment. (But, trust me, my summaries are good.)

Hillary
was second. Here are some of her questions and my summaries of some of
her answers. The first several questions were from moderator, Brett
Baier.
Here is the full video of Hillary's segment.
About
Michael Bloomberg's decision not to run, Hillary said she looks forward
to working with him in the future as she has in the past.
Libya:
Hillary said it needs to be put in context - Arab Spring; soulèvement
général; Qaddafi decided to fight the upheaval; Arab countries and NATO
agreed that the people needed to be helped, and now there have been two
democratic elections. Leaving a dictator is place is more deadly than
what is happening in Libya.
Abortion
question: Very oddly worded. Continue to stand for women's right to
decide and support Planned Parenthood. Post 20-week situation can be
very complex and are rare.
"It's not much of a right if it is totally limited and constrained." —Hillary on women's right to safe and legal abortion #DemTownHall
Emails:
The personal server was a mistake; I was not the only person to use
such a server; nothing I sent was marked classified. Once the material
was requested, they were then subject to review and subsequently some
were deemed classified. She asserted that neither she nor members of
her staff are targets of investigation.
Getting
legislation adopted: Bipartisan legislation is possible when you find
common ground. Hillary not saying it is easy, but you can work at it.
Compromise is possible and necessary.
Favorite Republican: She
never cites one. Mentioned Susan Collins, John McCain, and hesitated to
mention more. Didn't want to hurt them.
Crime
bill: There were some important elements, but in the end there were
some chain reaction ill effects. A comprehensive approach is needed
including educational efforts.
We have to reform the criminal justice system. We also have to expand access to education, health care, jobs, and fair housing. #DemTownHall
Healthcare:
Mistakes in the ACA need correction. Hillary will encourage competition
specifically by getting non-profits involved.
Millennials:
Hillary said she is not overpromising; glad they are excited and
participating and is for them even if they are not for her.
Senator
Sanders: I see him as an ally. Also revisited 2008 and how she ended up
supporting President Obama's election. (For my money, this answer also
speaks to the "trustworthy" question. She had said all along she would
support the nominee and she did even though a lot of her supporters
abandoned her for doing so. She did what she said she would do. She is a
woman of her word. Hillary always delivers. What could be more
trustworthy than that?)
As with many of these town halls, it was over before she knew it. Hillary is always ready to keep going!
