Dear Madame Secretary

Dear Madame Secretary,

My best compliments on your confirmation. You will be sorely missed in the Senate where you have done tireless and outstanding work - especially for those of us in the NY metro area.
It has been a long journey full of twists and surprises. You showed us all what dedication, resolve, and principle look like as you fought on and refused to drop out. We all understand that it was not about you, but rather about your loyalty to us.

Last week, we also saw a monumental example of your wisdom and preparation for the world stage you are about to occupy. Your hours of testimony again demonstrated the degree to which you place your country, our ideals, and the American people in a place of supreme importance in your heart.

I have read that George Washington inspired a profound depth of love among those who served with him both in the Continental Army and later as Chief Executive. I do not feel it would be inappropriate to compare that love with the love we, your supporters, feel for you. No matter what you decide to do in the future, I will always be ready to support your efforts. You have my support always.

Godspeed, Hillary, on your journey. May God always protect and bless you and our country which is so blessed to have you.

One last little thing: Please find a way to keep us in touch. We have become accustomed to your electronic communications. We will stay with you every step of the way.

Very truly yours always,

Still4Hill
