Hillary Clinton, A Woman In Statuary Hall

One hundred forty-three of us are members of Dr. Lynette Long's Facebook group: Put A Woman In Statuary Hall. Today, in celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the National Women's History Project, Nancy Pelosi did just that. No, she did not dedicate a statue, but she honored, in Statuary Hall, a flesh and blood, living and breathing hero for women and girls all over the world, Secretary of State Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton. There is an earlier post here (scroll down) with a video and text Of Secretary Clinton's remarks at this event, but I could not resist posting a pictorial review. (I also could not resist including my pal, Charlie Rangel, who was not near Hillary at the time, but just to say, "Hi, Charlie!" I have met him, and he is a good guy. He also is the one who suggested Hillary move to New York and run for the Senate. I am forever grateful for that.) And now, heeerrrrrre's Hillary enjoying yet another wonderful honor and looking typically adorable doing so.
