When I saw
"Announcement" in the subject
line of this email this morning, I knew that Hillary was having some fun
with the people who think that word can mean only one thing. Those of
us who love Hillary know she has a great sense of humor. Apparently
some people took that subject line exactly the way she wanted them to.
She
was just having a little bit of fun, but the tripling part of the
message is not a joke. It is for real. To those who have a problem
with her speaking fees - this is what she does with huge portions of
them.
This
is a season to give thanks for our many blessings and to remember our
responsibilities to each other – that we're all in this together.
In
my family, we're celebrating our first holidays with a beautiful new
granddaughter. We're also celebrating the generosity and commitment of
our incredible Clinton Foundation family – and that means you.
As
we look ahead to an exciting new year, there's so much more to do
together – solving problems and seizing opportunities faster, better,
and at lower cost. But we can't do it without you. That's why Bill, Chelsea, and I will triple every $1 donated to the Clinton Foundation before the end of the year, up to an additional $100,000.

has begun to take on what I believe is the great unfinished business of
the 21st century – helping women and girls achieve full participation
around the world. And through Job One, we're bringing
employers, educators, and young people together to help our kids get the
skills and support they need to find good and fulfilling jobs.
Across
all our initiatives in 2015, we'll be helping more people in more
places live up to their God-given potential. And we need you right there
with us.
