Live Worldwide Webchat on Internet Freedom
Notice to the PressOffice of the SpokesmanWashington, DCFebruary 15, 2011Following a live webcast of Secretary Clinton’s speech: “Internet Rights And Wrongs: Choices & Challenges In A Networked World,” Alec Ross, the U.S. Department of State's Senior Adviser for Innovation, and Dan Baer, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, will participate in worldwide webchat on Internet freedom through the Department of State’s CO.NX program.
The webcast and follow-on webchat will take place on the CO.NX Facebook page (http://bit.ly/CONXlive) and here: https://statedept.connectsolutions.com/internetfreedom . The webcast of the speech will begin at approximately 12:30 p.m. The Webchat will begin at approximately 2:00 p.m.
