Hillar Clinton Dominates Debate Night One of the Debates 2016

So much of the assessment of presidential debates relies on the visual that it matters little if we offer the words.  Transcripts will become available, and they will be added here when they are.  For now, however, let's look at the faces. In 1960, on this date,  it was the faces that told the story .



Introduction of families.

And it begins.

"I Think Donald just criticized me for preparing for his debate. And yes, I did. And you know what else I prepared for? I prepared to be president and I think that's a good thing."

The Trumps greeted a few friends in the front rows and exited stage right.  The Clintons hung around longer.

Chris Matthews summed up Trump's performance as Casey at the Bat.  Pretty accurate American reference. There was huffing and puffing - why does no one ever mention Trump's breathing problems?  It's clear every time he gets "exercised."   One down - two to go.  The visage looks pretty calm, cool, collected, and confident to me!  Well done, Hillary!
