Secretary Clinton’s Remarks with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu Before Their Meeting

Secretary Clinton and F.M. Davutoglu are meeting for the second time this week. They are very evenly matched where intellect and influence are concerned, and that they appear to be working together very smoothly is important not just for Turkey and the U.S., but for the world.

And we have so many important issues to discuss with Turkey, and the foreign minister is always available and always willing to exchange views and to try to search for solutions to problems. And we have a very strong bilateral relationship that is getting even stronger. So again, welcome.
