Sunday Night Hillary Encouragement

I want to preserve this whole conversation exactly as Rumana related it on Facebook.   It gave many so much hope to read these words.
I said to him hello Mr. President me and my friends want to know if Hillary will run, and I mean in 2012 and not 2016. He paused for a sec. And said she keeps saying no but if she gets enough encouragement maybe she will change her mind.
I said you should go to S4h FB page and see we are encouraging her. He put his hand on my shoulder and said if lot more people encourage her maybe she will run. I said Mr. President we are talking about 2012 please do something. He said she needs to know you are there for her and I said please tell her. ;)
Yes, Mme. Secretary we are here for you. We never left you.  Over the past almost three days, your supporters have posted many encouraging words here and on my Facebook page (the one Rumana told President Clinton to look at).  We hope you have a chance to read them all.  We are ready.  We have stayed together over four years ... for you.  We love you.  We know you hear us and that we are not invisible to you. We also know that you have the ability to fix what is broken in this country.

You have left a transformational legacy at the State Department that will resonate long into the next century with your Smart Power Doctrine, your 21st Century Economic Statecraft Doctrine, and your QDDR.  You have brought alienated friends back into the fold, particularly in Asia.  You have reached out to those who, in the past,  have distrusted us.  You have spoken out for human rights, gender equality,  and freedom of communication.    You have accomplished these things and so much more on the global stage.

Now, Mme. Secretary, we need you on the domestic stage where things have not fared so well.  Partisan bickering, a bad economy, and government inaction have been the hallmark of the past almost four years.  Things are bad out here, and all we get are speeches.  There is no bold action.  There is no bipartisan effort.  That has to come from the leader.  It is not something that can come from the grassroots.  What we do see from the grassroots is the level of dissatisfaction in this country as the Tea Party and Occupy Movement  demonstrate.

We have stayed together for you because we all know you have the special leadership skills  to mend what is torn.  For every one of us who comments, there are more who feel the way we do.  We hear all the time from Republicans, Independents, and disaffected Democrats that people wish you would run.  People wish you were president.   Please, dear Mme. Secretary,  give this some consideration.  Read our words.

Thank you for all that you have done.  Thank you for inspiring us on a daily basis.  And thank you for listening to President Clinton when he told you about his conversation with Rumana.  We love you.  All of us do, and we need you.
