NOT the kind of news I was looking for today

As you may have heard by now, Bill Clinton is in Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital having had two stents placed in a coronary artery earlier today, and Hillary Clinton is en route from D.C. to be with him. I was stir-crazy for news earlier, but this is NOT the kind of news I wanted to hear. My thoughts and prayers are with the Clinton Family.

Hillary Clinton leaves Washington for New York

WASHINGTON -- Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton has left Washington and headed to New York to be with her husband, former President Bill Clinton, who was hospitalized after feeling chest pains.

But aides to Mrs. Clinton said she still plans to go ahead with a previously scheduled trip to the Persian Gulf. The trip is to begin Friday afternoon but could be delayed slightly.

Aides to Clinton said Thursday she left the capital shortly after meeting President Barack Obama at the White House ahead of her planned trip to Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
