SECRETARY CLINTON: I’m very happy to welcome the new Prime Minister of Latvia here to the State Department for consultations. We are, as I think everyone knows, a close friend and ally of Latvia. And we are very pleased to stand by Latvia, which has been dealing with some challenging issues along with many other countries in the world. But, we are prepared to do whatever we can to assist and deepen and broaden our ties between the two countries.

PRIME MINISTER DOMBROVSKIS: Well, I would also like to say that we have excellent strategic partnership with the U.S., and we have been counting on continued U.S. support for our way towards EU and NATO. And, we feel that it’s important to continue with this strategic partnership and the excellent relations we have been enjoying so far.

SECRETARY CLINTON: Thank you very much, sir.

PRIME MINISTER DOMBROVSKIS: Thank you.

SECRETARY CLINTON: Thank you. Thank you all.
