As First Lady, Hillary Clinton helped establish the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) which provides coverage for eight million children. To celebrate her advocacy, the Children's Health Fund will honor Hillary this Spring at their annual benefit. Our best compliments, Mme. Secretary, on this well-deserved honor! Added bonus, Bernie Williams will accompany Paul Simon at this event!
Clinton will be honored with the American Heroes for Children Award, and will deliver the keynote speech at the event. CHF board member Jane Pauley will be honoured with the CHF Pioneers Award, and CHF co-founder Paul Simon will perform. Paul Simon will be joined by former New York Yankee and guitarist Bernie Williams.
Also being honoured at the event are CHF supporter Dr. David Dines and long-time corporate partner Morgan Stanley.

Now she can add “fashion muse” and “footwear model” to the list, thanks to Katy Perry, who designed a pair of pumps in her honor, dubbing them The Hillary. And
when Clinton got her hands on a pair of the baby pink pumps, she was
more than happy to show them off to their best effect for Perry’s
Instagram.
Cute
for Easter, they are affordable and come in small sizes, too! Before I
take any more abuse for talking about Hillary's shoes, yes we do talk
about such accessories on men too! I have seen lots of comments about
extra-long neck ties that do not camouflage a big gut.
For her heroic run, for her dedication to her hometown and to
American values, for her courage and service, Hillary Clinton's hometown
has gathered round her in pride and gratitude this Thanksgiving.
Hillary Clinton’s Hometown Rallies Around to Give Her Holiday Cheer
At the Chase bank in Hillary and Bill Clinton‘s hometown of Chappaqua, New York, the spirited former president was holding court with a handful of locals.
“And
he was pretty much talking about the how disappointed he and she were,
how he feels she completely got railroaded by (FBI director) Comey,”
says Richard “Zippy” Zimmerman, a Chappaqua chiropractor who was part of
the 15-minute conversation on Monday.
“He
said he wished he didn’t know Hillary so he could really go to town on
the people persecuting her so he could really speak his mind,” says
Zimmerman. “He felt he was held back because he couldn’t defend her the
way he wanted to defend her.”
This
outpouring of sentiment for Hillary runs far beyond her husband in this
hamlet north of New York City of some 1,400 residents, locals tell
PEOPLE.
Following
the shock and the tears of her unexpected loss, locals mobilized. Signs
were put up in lawns and roadway medians thanking Clinton for a decade
of service. The board of directors of the Chappaqua Farmers Market made a
50-pound basket of locally-sourced goodies for Hillary: chicken pot
pies, carrots, meats, cheeses, vegetables and yoghurt, says Emily Haft
Bloom, of Chappaqua.
To every little girl who dreams big: Yes, you can be anything you want—even president. Tonight is for you. -H
They
say a picture is worth a thousand words. This one was worth 84,000
retweets and 300.000 "likes!" The little girl, she is only 18 months
old and dancing already, is named Hillary. Her dad says she was almost a
Margaret. Well, that's a grand name! My grandmother was a Margaret
and so is my sister. But this little "almost Margaret" will grow up as
part of a grand history for women in her country, and you really cannot
beat that! Hillary is a great name for a little girl with so much
spirit!
Before she celebrated her history-making moment as the first female presidential nominee for a major political party at a rally in Brooklyn, New York, Hillary Clinton shared a photo with an inspiring message for young girls: you can be anything you want.
Washington (CNN)Hillary

State of the Union address.

Excerpts
from the interview will air at 7 p.m. on Tuesday on CNN's "Erin Burnett

TV host Amanda de Cadenet tells PEOPLE that when she sat down with Clinton on her talk show The Conversation
for an interview airing Jan. 13 at 10 p.m. ET on Lifetime, she had one
objective: to get to know Clinton not as a politician, but as a woman.
With only days to go before the release of Hard Choices, her memoir of her time as secretary of state, Hillary Clinton 0pened her doors to People Magazine for an exclusive cover story.
Becoming a grandmother in the fall could influence Hillary Clinton's decision-making – and not just which carseat to buy (though there's that, too).
After
stepping down as Secretary of State in 2013 and enjoying her first free
time in a long time, Clinton is now pondering another run for the White
House.
"I know I have a decision to make," she recently told
PEOPLE in her first at-home interview since the end of husband Bill's
presidency in January 2001. "But part of what I've been thinking about,
is everything I'm interested in and everything I enjoy doing – and with
the extra added joy of 'I'm about to become a grandmother,' I want to
live in the moment. At the same time I am concerned about what I see
happening in the country and in the world."
