UNREDACTED spent
an afternoon with Philippe’s former boss, Hillary Clinton. More
precisely, Emily & Molly interviewed Hillary in her Washington, D.C.
home for over an hour while Philippe made himself comfortable in her
house and backyard. (When you listen you’ll hear why he excused himself;
and at the end you’ll also hear us at his house telling him
what he missed.) Hillary discusses events of the day, events of
yesterday, events of tomorrow — everything we threw at her while sitting
around her dining room table — including the Republican assault on Roe
v. Wade, the differences between Richard Nixon and donald trump, trump’s
“pathetic” cabinet, Rudy Giuliani’s two-decade long fixation on her,
and her one-on-one meetings with more than half of the 20+ Democrats
running for President. The interview was so long and so good we didn’t
want to cut anything to make it fit into one episode. So we split it
down the middle with the second half coming.
So strange that these are the demeanors of folks supporting Donald Trump at one of his rallies when he is the installed president presumably making all their dreams come true. Why are they so angry?
They won, right? Shouldn't they be happy?
The other question is: Why is Trump having rallies? There's this N-word that has been floating around - not the one you think.
Whereas here is what the 22nd evening of protest at the Kremlin Annex in Moscow-on-the-Potomac looked like last night.
Rosie O'Donnell brought 55 Broadway performers with her to sing.
I should point out that these artists did this on the one night a week that they have off. Broadway shows do not run on Mondays because at least one weekend day and also on Wednesdays they do both a matinee and an evening performance. So they did this on their only night off. They also said they would be back on another Monday. Thank you! Profusely!
The other day, Brassy Rebel said in a comment that we are in the Upside Down. Protesters are partying nightly having a great time. Rally-goers on the prevailing side appear miserable and angry. So what's up? And what's down?

I don't know why I waited so long to post about this. I guess I thought people would know, but I discovered last night that a lot of people did not. Also, it is not about Hillary. That's OK. I think she has been there with us from the first night in spirit. It's a happy, optimistic, inclusive spirit. An American one.

While some people who know me might think I'm describing myself, I’m not. I’m describing the three months last year that I was the Donald Trump stand-in for dozens of mock debates against Hillary Clinton (who was played by Hillary Clinton).
To truly become Trump, I had to immerse myself in all things Trump. I watched every clip of Trump I could get my hands on. All the primary debates, rallies, TV interviews. As I told Politico’s Annie Karni a few months ago, I got so into my role as Donald Trump that I began to lose my sense of where my tie ended and he began.
According to a New York Timesarticle
today, Hillary Clinton has not only an office but also an initial paid
speaking engagement lined up. Jim Rutenberg reports that the recently
retired Secretary of State will make her paid speaking debut on April 24
in Dallas. Her office, located on Connecticut Avenue in DC, is dealing
with, as Rutenberg puts it "the considerable business of being Hillary
Clinton."
Operating with a small staff, the clear voice of the
"transition office," as it is being called, remains her longtime
spokesman Philippe Reines. Responding to rumors that insiders have
leaked that she is running again in 2016, Reines stated, “Everyone’s
gotten way ahead of themselves, and most importantly, they have gotten
way ahead of her.”
Rutenberg goes on to offer this.
Those who are most connected
to her exhaustive network of political financiers — some of whom
remained in her orbit with plum invitations to official diplomatic
soirees — say its most important members will make no move until she gives the signal.
Yes, there are those insisting that they know
she is running. Clearly, according to the above, these folks would not
be among the "most important members" and "have gotten way ahead of
her," as Reines put it.
So what is Hillary Clinton doing now with this mysterious little office?
These
days, Mrs. Clinton is devoting much of her time to her next book, about
her years in the State Department. She is also debating how best to
continue her work on women’s issues, which she could do either through
her husband’s foundation or one she may start on her own.
It
is no secret that many would love to see her make the run, but that is
her decision to make, and she has not made it. If anyone assures you
that he or she knows for certain that her hat is in the ring, that person is talking through his or her hat!
Sharp-eyed readers here noticed that the lenses in HRC's glasses were more complex than the usual coke-bottle ones we are accustomed to seeing on her.
We knew she used her considerable persuasive skills to return to work somewhat earlier than her doctors might have wished due to remarks she made in a conference call while she was still recuperating at home. We also know she wants to close out her time at State on an up note with some special events. That's our girl, and no one is going to change that about her.
All of us here continue to pray for her complete recovery and future safety and good health - even if she is in hiding from us as she contemplates her next project.
The thick glasses Hillary Clinton has been wearing in public since returning from a concussion and blood clot last month are the result of lingering effects of her health problems, a Clinton aide confirms.
"She'll
be wearing these glasses instead of her contacts for a period of time
because of lingering issues stemming from her concussion," said
spokesman Philippe Reines. "With them on she sees just fine."

She walked out New York Presbyterian Hospital accompanied by her husband, former President Bill Clinton and daughter Chelsea.

I
know all of you are very interested in the Secretary’s health. Again,
we want to thank all of you for your good wishes, for your good thoughts
over the holiday period. I just wanted to say at the outset that I
don’t have anything new to update you since the statement that we put
out from her doctors on December 31st, where we talked about
the fact that a blood clot had been discovered, that she is on blood
thinners now and the doctors are monitoring her. We will continue to
keep you updated as we have new information to share, as we’ve been
doing all the way along. I think that was our eighth statement in some
three weeks. So please bear with us, and we will continue to pass on all
of your good wishes to her.

Secretary
Clinton was discharged from the hospital this evening. Her medical team
advised her that she is making good progress on all fronts, and they
are confident she will make a full recovery. She's eager to get back to
the office, and we will keep you updated on her schedule as it becomes
clearer in the coming days. Both she and her family would like to
express their appreciation for the excellent care she received from the
doctors, nurses, and staff at New York Presbyterian Hospital Columbia
University Medical Center.

her so much, after all the worrying, here it is, what we longed for - that beautiful, bright smile. Godspeed to a full recovery,
