Former
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton has added a San Diego
stop to her national book promotion tour for her best-selling new
memoir, "Hard Choices." An early riser, Clinton will begin her two-hour
June 25 book signing at Warwick's Books in La Jolla promptly at 8:30 a.m.
"It's
a huge coup for us to get her. We hosted Hillary once before, in 2003,
after her 'Living History' book was published, and we sold 1,300 books,"
said Julie Slavinsky, Warwick's director of events.
"This
time will be different, because she has another engagement later that
afternoon. So we're limited to 1,000 books to be signed." (More
information about the signing appears later in this article.)
