Former first lady and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is in Oxford today
for the funeral of Carolyn Ellis Staton, who passed away late last week.
Ellis
Staton, a longtime Oxford resident, has been close friends with
President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary Clinton since college.
Ms.
Clinton is in Oxford today for Ms. Ellis Staton’s memorial service,
scheduled for 11 a.m. on the Ole Miss campus at the Paris Yates Chapel.
She spoke at today’s memorial service in honor of Ms. Ellis Staton.
