We know Hillary Clinton likes the show. Now she will have a cameo role on it along with other former secretaries of state.
Hillary Clinton is set to play herself on the fifth season premiere of the drama series
Madam Secretary this fall, CBS announced on Tuesday. In the episode, which will air on Sunday, October 7th, the show’s protagonist Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord (Téa Leoni) will turn to Clinton and two other former secretaries of state, Madeleine Albright and Colin Powell, to “ask their advice on how to respond to a delicate situation,” a press release stated. The scenes were filmed earlier this month during the first week of production for the show’s fifth season. Earlier this year, Clinton made a
cameo appearance during the Grammy Awards in which she read aloud from Michael Wolff’s
Fire and Fury book.
