Among today's State Department press releases is the one posted below announcing that Morocco is the next country to be graced by an inaugural visit by our super-competent and very lovely Secretary of State. She will travel to Marrakesh to attend the 6th Forum for the Future. The press release is below.

October 21, 2009Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will travel to Marrakesh, Morocco from November 2-3, 2009 to participate in the 6th Forum for the Future.The Forum for the Future is a joint initiative of the countries of the Broader Middle East and North Africa region (BMENA) and the industrialized countries of the Group of Eight (G8). It is a unique partnership between governments of the region, the G8, civil society representatives and private sector leaders to discuss and exchange ideas on how to best work together to support progress and expand opportunities for the people of the region.
The Kingdom of Morocco and the United States were the co-hosts of the first Forum for the Future, which took place in Rabat in 2004.
