Secretary Clinton hosts a Working Lunch with His Excellency Ahmed Ali Aboul Gheit, Foreign Minister of Egypt, and Omar Mahmoud Soliman, Director of the General Intelligence Service, at the Department of State.
It is an interesting-looking choreography. Mme. Secretary got some pretty Christmas presents: this blouse, Tuesday's jacket.

FOREIGN MINISTER GHEIT: Thank you very much, Secretary. Thank you very much.
SECRETARY CLINTON: Thank you all very much.
QUESTION: Mr. Prime Minister, what kind of guarantees are you looking for from the U.S. for talks? Just one question, please. We want to hear your voice. You’ve come all this way.
FOREIGN MINISTER GHEIT: Well, we are coming to try to regenerate enough energy and to create enough momentum for a peace effort. And it is crucial that we will do it and we will succeed, and we would bring the parties on the proper basis. Thank you.
