Having begun her day early in Washington (we see her in a meeting at the White House with the National Security Team in the Situation Room), she then traveled to New York where, in the afternoon she delivered an address at the United Nations Headquarters on the 15th anniversary of her famous Beijing speech. Her message at the time was "Women's rights are human rights, and human rights are women's rights." Her 21st Century message is that "Women's progress is human progress, and human progress is women's progress." She then held a bilateral with U.N. Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon. In the evening, she introduced a reading of the play "Seven" at the Women in the World Summit. What a busy way to end a busy week!
We all hope Madame Secretary is getting some well-deserved rest this weekend with this nasty storm raging outside.
**Oh! And note to Tina Brown: No more nasty remarks about Hillary Clinton, her figure (which looks very pretty to me), or how you imagine she feels. She did you a big favor last night, so lay off!**
