State Department Issues Chart on Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Response: Government to Government International Offers of Assistance

Earlier this week, I posted two statements out of the State Department on how the Department is responding to the Deepwater Horizon Oil Disaster, Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill: What Hillary Clinton’s State Department Is Doing. A few minutes ago, the State Department issued the following press release providing further details regarding international offers of assistance.

Even the TYPE of information issuing from this department is in stark contrast to the kind of review (these are the things that happened), characterization (this is the worst environmental disaster...), preview (we are going to make BP pay...) statements coming from the Oval Office, Congress today (investigating instead of acting), and BP (making excuses and stonewalling). Like the pretty lady who runs the department, State does not waste time with the obvious. It acts, and provides transparency while acting. Go Hillary! Go State!
