Secretary Clinton did not have much of a weekend. She arrived home from her Central Asia trip and hit the ground running to host her annual Kennedy Center Honors dinner at the State Department where, despite all the traveling, she simply glowed. But a very heavy Monday was ahead with meetings regarding the activities along the North-South Korean border forming the core of her day. She had a bilateral each with the foreign ministers of South Korea and Japan followed by a trilateral with both. There was more to her day, but the State Department did not bother to post a public schedule for today.
It is clear that Mme. Secretary throws all of herself into her work for the good of our country. It is very serious and difficult work. Her efforts are very much appreciated here at this blog.
Here, in no particular order, are some images of her day.
