She also has plans to battle terrorist entities, corporate tax abuse, a crumbling infrastructure, climate change, unfair wage and employment practices, inflated tuition, gun violence, gender inequity, and unfair tax regulations. I could go on.
Hillary is not simply at war against what is harmful, unfair, and inequitable. She battles for positive change for caregivers, coal communities, veterans and their families, rural communities, small businesses, the middle class, seniors, parents, families, and kids.

Do we want a president who views fellow Americans as "other" and "the enemy" even when they serve in the armed forces and in necessary civilian services? Or do we want a president who sees what needs to be improved in the social contract and has specific plans to make the needed changes?
We are on the cusp of the year of decision. We know which candidate has all of the experience, ideas, contacts, and ability to make America even greater than it already is. It is not the candidate who declares war on other Americans who serve, have served, or wish to serve. It will not be a candidate who wants to "take America back." We do not want to go back. We want to continue to go forward.
Our presidential election is not a war. It is our democracy at work. We do this regularly and have since Monday, December 15, 1788 to Saturday, January 10, 1789. We elect a president every four years without shedding a drop of blood. Trump denigrates that system when he calls campaigning a "war." The Republicans in general insult our history and tradition when they call for repeals and reversals of equitable forward progress.
A year ago, many were calling on Hillary Clinton to make this run. She not only has made the commitment, she has laid out an integrated, detailed platform the likes of which no other candidate has produced. It is time to show recognition of her effort and support for the candidacy so many demanded of her.
Hours remain before the last FEC filing for 2015. If you called on her, please show you appreciate her selfless response. Hillary did not do this for personal glory or even to make history. She did this for you because you asked her to. She did this to make America even better and fairer for all of us.
