This was already posted in a later comments thread, but I thought I would add it in here for the record. The festival in Boscobel is next to Constitution Island and across the
river from West Point where the Continental Army laid a huge chain
across the river to prevent British ships from going upriver during the
War for Independence. The chain is still there - under the river
somewhere.
