Dear friends,
Like so many around the world, we have
been inspired by Nelson Mandela. For more than 20 years, we have also
been blessed by his friendship, which has given us the chance to
witness, in different ways, the power of his commitment to peace,
reconciliation, personal kindness, and the possibilities of each new
day.
On July 18, we will once again join with
people and organizations across the globe in celebrating Mandela Day – a
day that inspires us to take action to help change the world for the
better. This year, we are honored to join with Graça, her family, and
his foundation to help capture the outpouring of support around this
day. At their request, the Clinton Foundation will collect donations to
help preserve Nelson Mandela’s legacy and further his work. 100% of the
proceeds will be directed to the Centre of Memory at the Nelson Mandela
Foundation.

supporting a truly great leader and wonderful person so that, as Graça
has said, "the principles that define Mandela Day are put to work not
just one day a year, but every day."
