Hillary Clinton visits new children's library for dedication ceremony
By David HartenPHOTO BY DAVID HARTENFormer Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was in Little Rock on Monday as the newest children's library in Arkansas was dedicated in her honor.
The Hillary Rodham Clinton Children's Library, which opened in March, was packed with more than a thousand patrons for the ceremony, including former President Bill Clinton.
While visiting the library, Hillary took a brief tour of the facility, read to a group of children and finished with a press conference, where she expressed her gratitude for the honor and for those who attended.

She read "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." If they ever name a library for me, I'll read "Hop on Pop." (PS: I'm not counting on the opportunity.)
Big day for the Clinton family today. Mrs. Clinton will be joined by the former president and their daughter, Chelsea, at a reception tonight for the Oscar de la Renta exhibit at the Clinton Presidential Center. Mr. Clinton is expected to attend a Human Rights Campaign reception at the Arkansas Arts Center with the HRC's leader, Arkansas native Chad Griffin, who worked on Clinton's staff and is the point man for a growing national movement to bring equality to gay people.

The Clintons will continue to rock the City of Little Rock into this evening when Hillary will host a reception for her friend and favorite designer, Oscar de la Renta at the Clinton Presidential Center where an exhibition of his work has been on display since May 18.
