This Weekend: An Upstate Honor for Hillary Clinton

We do not know whether Hillary will be attending this event but can imagine no reason why she would skip what looks to be a wonderful celebration of her service by her former constituents as well as a great honor!.

A tour group walks along the Richmond Aqueduct above the Seneca River in Montezuma last year as part of the Canal Splash! weekend, which celebrates the history and beauty along the New York State canal system.

Coinciding with Canal Splash! is the unveiling of a bronze bust of former secretary of state, U.S. Senator and First Lady Hillary Clinton at the Ludovico Sculpture Trail. A reception follows with refreshments.
The artwork is by the hand of Finger Lakes artist Dexter Benedict.
"We love her," said Wilhelmina Pusmucans said of Clinton. "She does good. What the people need, she does."
