All Pueblo Council of Governors Endorses Hillary Clinton!

This is yet another enormous and important endorsement!

All Pueblo Council of Governors Endorses Hillary Clinton for President

Albuquerque, NM – Yesterday, the All Pueblo Council of Governors (APCG) endorsed Hillary Clinton for President of the United States. The organization, “comprised of the governors of the Indian Pueblos located in the State of New Mexico,” cited Clinton’s experience, her years as an advocate for children, women, and families, her commitment to fulfilling the United States’ government-to-government obligations, and her commitment to breaking down the barriers that face Indian Tribes as their reasons for support.
This adds to a long list of tribal support Hillary Clinton has received in New Mexico:
All Pueblo Council of Governors
Ten Southern Pueblos Council
Democratic Party of New Mexico Chairwoman Debra Haaland, (Pueblo of Laguna)
The Pueblos of Zuni, Ohkay Owingeh, Santa Clara, San Felipe, Isleta, and Pojoaque.

“Secretary Clinton is a tested leader who shares our values. She has proven through her record that she is committed to serving those who are most in need, and will continue to do so when elected President. I am proud to endorse Hillary Clinton for President, and glad that the All Pueblo Council of Governors (APCG) has endorsed her, we believe she will be the champion our tribal communities deserve.” - Governor E. Paul Torres, Governor of the Pueblo of Isleta and Chairman of the APCG
"As one of the first tribal leaders to endorse Secretary Hillary Clinton, I believe she will uphold and protect the sacred trust of the United States and Tribal Nations. I know firsthand that Hillary is committed to strengthening the government-to-government relationship with tribes and will continue to work with us to get the hard work done. Secretary Clinton will continue to assist underserved communities like those that exist in native communities across Indian Country. I am honored to stand alongside her with the many Navajo chapters and Native American leaders in Arizona and New Mexico who know she will be a President for the people." - Jonathan Nez, Navajo Nation Vice President
"I am proud to support Hillary Clinton for President of the United States.  She truly believes we need to break down all the barriers that hold Native Americans back and build ladders of opportunity for all Native people. Her entire career she has been a problem solver, she will work tirelessly to remove the obstacles that contribute to addiction, high unemployment and poverty rates in our State.  We know with Hillary, every child in New Mexico should be able to live up to his or her God-given potential." - Governor Earl Salazar, Governor of Okay Owingeh
