Slideshow: Secretary Clinton in Brazil Today

If you have been following his tweets on Twitter (as Dipnote), then you know that #Philippe Reines tweeted last night that Secretary Clinton landed in Brazil having visited four countries in 24 hours. About an hour ago, he tweeted that after a 14 hour day she is now on the plane for Costa Rica - a seven hour flight. Her time in Brazil was breathtakingly busy. She spent part of it with Brazil's Foreign Minister Celso Amorim, met the Senate President Sarney and Lower House President Temer, met with Brazil's President Luis Inacio Lula da Silva, met with a group called Mais Unidos, and did a Townterview in Sao Paulo. I could barely keep up with the pictures! So here is a slideshow. More substance from today is in the earlier posts.

This may be shallow of me, but I just have to voice my appreciation of how beautiful she looks all the way through these exhausting days. Actually, I do not think it is shallow. Keats said, "A thing of beauty is a joy forever," and I know he was not shallow. From this point forward, therefore, I shall not refer to such comments as "shallow." I shall refer to them as "Keatsian."
