August 5, 2011SECRETARY CLINTON: I’m very happy to welcome Brunei’s minister for foreign affairs and trade here to the United States. I have greatly appreciated the opportunity to work with Brunei over the last two and a half years on a range of important bilateral, regional, and global issues. So it’s a special pleasure to have the minister here for us to continue these discussions. So welcome to Washington and the State Department.FOREIGN MINISTER SENG: Thank you very much, Secretary Clinton, for the meeting this morning, and I’m very happy to say that the relations between the United States and Brunei are very good. Part of my visit here with my colleague, the minister of energy, is to focus on the cooperation and how we are going to enhance the energy sector. But generally, our bilateral relations are good, don’t have any problem.
SECRETARY CLINTON: Good. Well, thank you very much, sir.
