Media Reads on a Hillary Run: October 8, 2011 Edition

When I look around at my friends who are Hillary supporters, and I have hundreds, I always find in them qualities that I see in Hillary.  No one has all of her qualities, but all of them have some.   In the case of Redstocking Grandma,  I see intelligence,  depth of knowledge, logic, and courage.
She began following me today on Twitter, and I immediately followed her back.  She tweeted this:  "@Still4Hill @chicagosquirrel A Hillary 2012 post to Daily Kos landed me in the same misogynistic cesspool I abandoned in 2008."

(O/T  The Chicago squirrel is in there because when I followed her, he, too, was suggested.  Since Hillary grew up a dual Cubs/Yankees fan, I followed him since he somehow gives her Cubbies a little good luck, it appears.)

Well, it was a concise post ... to the point.   She is a brave woman to have posted this there.  Hats off to you,  Redstocking Grandma!   The comments, however, are what one might expect to a Hillary post at Daily Kos.

Occupy Wall Street Needs Hillary 2012

I burst upon the political blogging scene in January 2008 supporting Hillary for President. Obama has been exactly the president I knew he would be. Hillary should  now have silenced all her rabid critics. She loyally supported Obama during the campaign and has been a brilliant Secretary of State.

I believe Redstocking is correct.  OWS and the rest of the 99% who are out there in their hearts if not physically need an FDR. Barack Obama is not FDR and has tipped his hand. He is not above helping the GOP dismantle the social safety nets.  The Rooseveltian figure on the scene today has an hour-glass shape and wears pantsuits.


She has done wonders on the plane.  It is high time we get her off HillForce One and let her work on domestic problems.  She does not have to make a speech for me to know that she has solutions.
