Last night's debate was very contentious. Hillary fielded some rude
questions like a pro while at one point reminding us that she is not.
“It’s
not easy to do what I think is right, to help people, to even the odds,
to hear a story like the woman’s story we just heard. And to know that I
can make a difference and I want to in every way possible.
I am
not a natural politician, in case you haven’t noticed, like my husband
or President Obama. So I have a view that I just have to do the best I
can, get the results I can, make a difference in people’s lives, and
hope that people see that I’m fighting for them and that I can improve
conditions economically and other ways that will benefit them and their
families.”
It is ironic that the people who have been
closest to her in life have always seen her one day taking on this
challenge, but Hillary herself thinks of this effort as the best route
to do the most good that she can.
This morning before leaving for Tampa, she spent some time at the hotel meeting and greeting the invisible folks who toil behind the scenes to make everyone's stay so pleasant. They are not invisible to Hillary.

Then
she was off to Tampa for a Get Out the Vote rally. She spoke about
environmental issues. She mentioned a high-speed rail between Orlando
and Tampa. This would create a lot of jobs and be great for the economy.
