Secretary Clinton Arrives in Estonia ... Finally!

Well, we hear from AP if not from the State Department, that our SOS is wheels down in Estonia - safe and sound. I never thought I would say this, but Dipnote Twitter was more efficient than this new, very conservative State Department Twitter. All of them could learn something about tweeting from WHAAsstSecty Arturo Valenzuela. Maybe he should give a little workshop to the staff that travels with the SOS about how to touch base without giving away state security secrets. He did a masterful job on the Latin American tour.

Clinton in Estonia for NATO meetings

TALLINN, Estonia -- U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton has arrived in the Baltic state of Estonia for a meeting of NATO ministers to discuss Afghanistan and other issues.

She arrived slightly later than scheduled after the Iceland volcano's ash cloud shifted toward Estonia while she was en route from Washington to a refueling stop in Spain. Her plane remained on the ground for a short time after refueling so that it would arrive in Tallinn after sunrise and make it easier for the pilot to avoid any ash cloud.
