Happy Mothers' Day!

To all the great moms out there, Happy Mothers' Day!

I want to share with all of you a tribute to Mrs. Dorothy Rodham for reasons that should be obvious. Without her wonderful parenting, we would not have her astonishing daughter to whom this tribute is dedicated as well. Hillary Rodham Clinton chose not to stay home and bake cookies, that is true. Nonetheless, she raised a lovely and remarkable daughter.

So, Mrs. Rodham, and Mme. Secretary, Happy Mothers' Day to you both. And, Chelsea, thank you for sharing your incomparable mother with the United States and with the world. We are better as a people for her public service.
