If you read ONE thing about the Nevada State Democratic Convention, read THIS.

Maybe you spent Sunday distressed over the piecemeal accounts and phone-video clips that emerged yesterday from the chaos that erupted within the Nevada Democratic Convention Saturday.  I did.  I combed the newsfeeds in search of a complete explanation of what happened.  Thanks to MamaJeanB, we have that.

Clearly it took time to organize and write this account that tells the story in full with all the necessary background information. If you read nothing else about the proceedings, read this.   It is unlikely that you will be able to fit it in during a break at work.  Plan to pour yourself something comforting tonight, put your feet up, and read the whole thing.

I was a proud Delegate for Hillary Clinton to the State Democratic Convention that happened in Nevada on Saturday. There were moments of chaos, flashes of violence, tons of sitting around and clearly lots of confusion. This is an attempt to illuminate what happened in the hopes of actually moving the conversation forward — and to keep the worst parts from happening again. This might be boring at times. Sometimes politics is boring. But to dismiss something that might be boring because it is informative is the type of thing that leads to this sort of egregious behavior.
